“Do I need to book or can I just turn up?”

We advise that you book, especially if your MOT certificate is about to expire as bookings take priority, but we will do our best to fit you in. Call us today to arrange a booking.

“Do I have to stay and wait with my car?”

The average wait time is 60 minutes or less. Most of our centres are within walking distance of retail parks but we always have a clean and comfortable waiting area with free refreshments, free wifi and the latest magazines if you wish to wait while we work on your car.

“How long does an MOT take?”

On average our Xpress MOT takes 60 minutes or less. We offer free coffee and free wifi and the latest magazines while you wait.

“How can you test my vehicle in such a short time?”

We have state of the art one man test lanes that speed up the MOT testing process. Our MOT stations are one of the most advanced in the industry.

“If my car fails an MOT Test and I have time left on my old certificate can I still use my vehicle?”

No, once we carry out the car inspection and it fails it is updated to VOSA and listed as not having a valid MOT certificate. But if you bring it in within 28 days of the expiry date you will keep the same expiry when it passes, this means you don’t have to rearrange your life to fit it in on a particular day.

“Why are main dealers so much more expensive, how do you keep your prices so low?”

We keep our costs down, have greater flexibility and strong supplier relationships so we’re able to offer very competitive deals and offers compared to some of our competition.

“Do you offer special deals or discounts?”

Our pricing is extremely competitive in comparison to our competition so you’ll always be getting a great deal. It says “all parts and labour included” does that mean any replacement parts are free?

Parts included are the ones used for the Xpress Service only. If any additional auto repairs and/or parts were needed, we would provide you with a quotation and require authorisation from you to complete the work.

“Do I have to take the combi option, or can I have just a MOT?”

There is no obligation to take both an Xpress Service and MOT, both products are available separately.

“Do you do MOT Tests for all makes and models of car?”

Yes, we do. We are able to MOT any class 4 vehicle includes light commercial vans:- Class IV — Cars, including 3-wheeled vehicles more than 450 kg unladen weight, Taxis, Minibuses and Ambulances up to 12 passenger seats, Goods Vehicles not exceeding 3000 kg Design Gross Weight (DGW), Motor Caravans and Dual Purpose Vehicles. This information will be in the v5 registration document or the MOT certificate. We can also MOT motorcycles at our Milton Keynes center for a fixed price of only £29. Just book your car (or motorcycle!) in for its MOT Test on a day and time convenient for you.
